Important Update: Apostilles for Documents Going to Vietnam

From 11 September 2026, Vietnam will recognise Apostilles under the Hague Apostille Convention.

For eligible UK public documents, this means the previous requirement for Vietnamese Embassy attestation will generally no longer apply.

Instead, the document can be legalised with a UK Apostille for use in Vietnam.

We can continue to assist with the full UK legalisation process, including solicitor certification where this is required before the Apostille can be issued.
