* If the signature of a doctor who has signed a medical certificate has not already been verified by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) then this process can take longer while the signature is being checked.
The following guidance from the FCDO may help reduce the chance of delays for your clients that require legalisation of their medical documents -
Customers can request their medical practitioner to contact our signature verification team at [email protected] with a sample of their signature on headed paper, providing their registration number, registered name, capacity and permission to store the signature on our database. We could then upload this to our database in advance of documents arriving.
